This is an excellent substrate to help keep humidity high in a cage or living terrarium! Its so soft and stays moist for a very long time! We use different spray or misting systems to keep the moss moist. You could also add a beautiful waterfall to your reptile cage to make it look extra beautiful! This substrate is great for amphibians, salamanders, certain species of snakes and any other animal that might need high humidity!
